My Ikea Hack

It's all about creative space & I'm very lucky to have my very own room that we converted nearly 10yrs ago.

My favourite thing is my island made from 4 Ikea Kallac units all pushed together, because my DIY skills are pretty much zero, I tie wrapped the wall brackets of each shelf to the one behind it, you can see in the photo.

2 pieces of MDF painted white sandwiched the units together, then caster wheels were added so it can be moved about.

I then added an Ikea worktop & voila!

I like to stand when I create so it's the perfect place for cutting fabric & doing all things creative.
